Fried spring roll seasoning mix.
Ingredients:
Cane sugar, garlic powder, salt, corn starch, black pepper.
Preparation:
Combine Mama Sita’s Spring Roll Seasoning (Lumpiamg Shanghai) Mix to a ground meat and vegetable you prefer.
Recipe:
Spring roll : makes (6-8 serving)
Ingredients:
1.1 lbs (1/2kg) ground meat
1 1/4 cups (120g) finely chopped carrots
1 cup (120g) finely chopped onions
2 tbsp (10g) finely chopped spring onions
1 beaten egg
45 pcs spring roll wrappers ( 8” in diameter)
2 tbsp (20g) all purpose flour
2 cups (500ml) cooking oil
In a bowl, combine Mama Sita’s Spring Roll Seasoning (Lumpiamg Shanghai) Mix, ground meat, carrots, onions and beaten egg.
Mix well, scoop 1tbsp of the mixture onto the spring roll wrapper and roll tightly. Seal the edges with water or egg white. Repeat process until you have 45 spring roll.
Cut rolls in half and dip both end in some flour.
Deep-fry in hot oil until golden brown and drain in paper towel.
Serve with sweet chilli sauce or sweet & sour sauce.
Substitute: Ground chicken, boiled and flaked fish.
Storage:
Store in a cool dry place.
