Dried prunella (self-heal) is primarily used to make a cooling, detoxifying herbal tea, often paired with monk fruit for sweetness.

To make it, boil 20g of washed, dried prunella in 7.5 cups of water for 15–30 minutes, then strain and serve hot or chilled.

It can also be steeped for 5-10 minutes as a daily health tonic.
